Pilbara University Centre

Located in the heart of Karratha, within the Quarter, the Pilbara University Centre fit spans 316m2. Immersed in spacious, light-filled areas, the site is purpose-built for the modern university experience. With full services and end-of-trip facilities seamlessly integrated into the building, convenience and functionality were at the forefront of this project.

Emirge overcame challenges of site access and goods delivery, made possible through strategic use of cranes, specialised machinery, alongside removal and reinstatement of second-level windows.

The space is equipped with lecture, study and meeting rooms. Additionally, the PUC features a contemporary library, dedicated spaces for staff and tutors and a kitchenette. The space is welcoming for both students and staff.

Functionality was at the forefront of this project, with operable walls to allow for conversion of lecture rooms to accommodate different class sizes. State of the art audio visual systems and high speed internet further support the functionality of the space and learning experience.
